The National Stock Assessment Program (NSAP) Project Leaders and staff of BFAR Regions I, II, IVB, VI, VII, X, XII, and XIII were trained on Fishing Boat and Gear Identification last April 8, 2021, as part of the Department of Agriculture Mentoring and Attracting Youth in Agribusiness (DA MAYA) program implementation. The participants who would mentor the MAYA interns were taught the technical aspects of data collection of fishing boats and gears found in Philippine waters.
