In an effort to capacitate the Science Advisory Group (SAG) of Fisheries Management Areas (FMA) 1 and 6, project coordinators from the National Stock Assessment Program (NSAP) of the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (NFRDI), served as resource speakers in a joint capacity building training on May 16-19, 2022 in Subic, Zambales.Stephen Karol Riñon and Nicko Amor Flores of the NSAP-Project Management Office (PMO), presented “Fisheries Biology” and “Best Practices of Fisheries Management in Asia and the World,” respectively. In addition, NSAP Program Coordinator Francisco Torres, Jr. discussed “The Importance of NSAP Data in Fisheries Management.”
