Of the 70,000 bangus fry, 40,000 were stocked in a concrete pond of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources – Guiuan Marine Fisheries Development Center (BFAR-GMFDC) in Guiuan, Eastern Samar to be grown to fingerling size. The remaining 30,000 fry were given to Mr. Ramon Mengullo, a private beneficiary in San Policarpio, Eastern Samar.
