A team composed of scientists and researchers from the Department of Agriculture-National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (DA-NFRDI) developed science-based recommendations on sustainable aquaculture to support ecotourism in Tagalag fishing village in Valenzuela City.Among the recommendations were the implementation of good aquaculture practices and an incentive system approach for massive collection of introduced fishes to address local’s concerns on deterioration of water quality and species invasion.
