To provide new insights and reveal potential targets for disease control leading to the development of diagnostics, effective therapeutics, and vaccines, the Department of Agriculture- National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (DA-NFRDI) is implementing a study on the role of Type VI Secretion System during shrimp infection of Vibrio spp. causing acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND).
