Additionally, Republic Act 6949 series of 1990 declares “the month of March as National Women’s Month”. This year’s theme “Juana Laban sa Pandemya: Kaya!” pays tribute to the challenges and opportunities faced by many Juanas during Pandemic and highlights women’s participation in battling the pandemic as well as discusses gender issues exacerbated by the pandemic.
